If you are using Wordpress it will be music to your ears to hear that they have released 2.8 and from the looks of it, continues to be the world’s best blogging software. Version 2.8 “Baker” has an increase in overall speed along with improvements to widgets and themes.

Not only is there an increase in speed but 790 bugs with the older version of Wordpress have been corrected with version 2.8. You will however not see any difference as far as aesthetics go. You might even wonder if you upgraded at all but once you get going you will start to see the power of Wordpress 2.8.
